This dramatic and thought-provoking musical compels us to look between the lines of Scripture to grasp the love God had for us even before we were created. God the Father, because He is God, knew that a His Son was destined to be sacrificed for the sins of man. Yet, He chose to create us.
God the Son knew he would be bound to earth for 33 years, subjected to the temptations of Satan, only to suffer betrayal, and the unthinkable indignity and pain of crucifixion, Yet, He chose to be born.
God the Holy Spirit pledged to become the patient, loving nurturer throughout the lifetime of every person who was to be saved by faith in God’s Son, counseling and supporting us through both victory and failure, before the challenges of the world, the flesh, and the devil.
The story culminates in the birth of Jesus, for God so loved us, that He gave His Son, and His Son gave Himself, so we too might become Children of God.
