4HEAVENSAKE RETURNS TO THE RAGTOWN STAGE

By June 11, 2007 No Comments

Audience favorite 4Heavensake is returning June 15th for a special performance at Ragtown Gospel Theater.  It is a particularly special performance because I asked the guys to do it as a favor for me, and they went through all kinds of scheduling contortions to make it possible.  That night will be the first time our eldest brother, Travis, and his entire family will see a production at the theater.  They are all driving down from Garden City, Kansas, and up from Abilene to meet in Post.

Travis is a big fan of Southern Gospel quartets, and I’ve never heard one better than 4HEAVENSAKE.  Their music is the perfect lead-in to the amazing performance of another of my big bothers, Glenn, as Peter the Rock.  I will open for 4HEAVENSAKE, having learned early on that I do not want to follow those guys!  Dan Wilson, Paul Hollabaugh, Steve Brown, and Bruce Fellers could perform on any stage alongside any Southern Gospel group in the country.  We are delighted to call them friends, and blessed to have them as part of the Ragtown Gospel Singers family.

The South Plains Lions Club has been working at selling tickets for the June 15th performance.  You may buy yours from any South Plains Lion Club member, call our toll-free order line (1-877-RAGTOWN) or click “Tickets” above.  Plenty of seats remain available, and it will be a great show.

As if that wasn’t enough to make it a perfect weekend to go to Post,  Saturday night turned out to be the one date we could get SISTERS JOY here from Lamesa.  Coming straight from a big show in Odessa, these ladies will knock your socks off!  You know a group has to be good when every group that has performed here tells us, “You have to get SISTERS JOY to come here and perform.  They are terrific!”

Well, we finally did it, and you don’t want to miss them.  4HEAVENSAKE Friday the 15th, then SISTERS JOY Saturday the 16th.  Two nights of great gospel music, plus PETER the ROCK.   Why not call the HOTEL GARZA or the BEST WESTERN POST INN and make a weekend of it?  Let’s go to Post!

 Bless Y’all!
